Purchasing philosophy statement:
Durr Ecoclean Inc.’s purchasing department seeks to deliver optimum value
to all stakeholders of the organization. Value to our stakeholders is delivered through adherence to our stated goals, building trusting relationships with our customers and achieving our performance metrics.
Our Goal:
- Align the material supply chain with the corporate vision and core
values.
- Demonstrate honest, respectful, fair and ethical dealings with all
stakeholders.
- Adhere to terms of payment.
- Identify trends in the markets we serve and adjust the material supply
chain accordingly.
- Exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement by aligning our process
to exceed customer expectations.
- Assure suppliers conduct business in an ethical and professional
manner.
- Collaborate and communicate with suppliers fostering mutually
beneficial trade.
Our Customers:
DEUS purchasing satisfies the needs of the company by providing goods and services to our customers. Our internal customers include engineering, manufacturing, project management, applications and administration. Our external customers include suppliers, government agencies and clients.
Business-to-Business (B2B) purchases are complex arrangements that consider client specifications, engineering standards, social commitment in addition to cost, quality and delivery. B2B procurement decisions are made utilizing a buy center consisting of interested parties from other functional areas. DEUS purchasing recognizes the complexity of supply chain decisions including impacts on non-material costs. Therefore, DEUS purchasing department actively participates in buying decisions offering alternative suppliers, specifications, financing options that provide optimum value, not lowest acquisition cost.
Our Performance Metrics:
Price - adherence to frame contracts or negotiated contract
pricing.
Delivery - evaluated daily through past due purchase order line
items.
Quality - measured by material complaint notices.
Cycle time - measured daily through open requisition and quote
monitoring.

Our Mission
It is the policy of Durr Ecoclean, Inc. through its
Minority Vendor Program to increase the business opportunities for Minority and
Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE’s).
Our commitment is to maximize M/WBE participation through the development
of mutually beneficial business relationships with these firms. The effort is company-wide, including
the traditional purchasing and contracted activities, as well as non-traditional
areas.
As a normal function of Durr Ecoclean, Inc.’s
purchasing
policy, no potential supplier will be precluded from consideration on the basis
of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin.
This program is intended to build an awareness of Durr
Ecoclean, Inc.’s social responsibility to provide opportunities
for Minority
and Women Business Enterprises. It
is being performed not as a response to outside regulator agencies or mandatory
requirements, but as an effort to recognize and support programs, which can
enhance the minority communities that we serve through our customers.
We support and encourage the participation of all departments
in the seeking out and taking the steps necessary to assure these businesses a
fair share in the economic opportunities available.
The coordination efforts will continue to be vested with the
Purchasing Department; however, the commitment to this program is a corporate
goal and all functional groups will contribute to its success.
If your company is recognized as a minority business,
please send a copy of your certification to the Purchasing
Department.
